I had it a draw. 118-110 either way is criminal

7-5 GGG but I gave two close rounds to Canelo.

It's funny, boxing officials thinks rigging this fight like this helps the sport. It only hurts it because boxing judges continue to fuck up the sport with this BS.

Might as well Canelo vs Cotto II and G vs Sanders...
Then rematch.
Then rematch.
Re: GGG vs CANELO •NOW LIVE•
Bullshit...that shouldve been a UD for Golovkin
Canelo couldnt prevent those long unproductive spells and didntdo nearly enough offensively. If the rounds were like the 12 then it would be another story.

Sometimes I wonder if stuff like this isn't about money. I mean think about it. A draw. That fucks over everybody that bet for Golovkin. Everybody that bet for Canelo...that means the house gets to keep practically ALL the money.

118-110 over GGG, 114-114 against Floyd
Canelo is without a doubt the son of judges

The thing is they could have easily had a rematch without Fucking GGG. The fight was somewhat close. GGG is better but Canelo had some moments

I had it 116-12 for GGG. How that 1 judge gave Canelo 10 rounds is horrendous.

Golovkin won but has noticeably slowed from what I see. If they rematch in May, I wouldn't be surprised to see Alvarez beat him, as Golovkin will likely continue to decline, and Alvarez is in the middle of his prime. If Alvarez didn't have such shitty stamina, I think he very likely would have won tonight, as all things equal, the stylistic matchup actually favors his counterpunching style IMO, but Golovkin is just so strong and relentless and Alvarez gets so easily winded. Reminded me a bit of Margarito-Cotto, although Alvarez is far more durable than Cotto, and Golovkin not quite the non-stop punch giving and eating machine that Margarito was, but much heavier handed.

I can see the outage from the 118-110 card, but it wasn't a Golovkin blowout either. Canelo could have easily won the first 3 rounds. He was consistently beating Triple to the punch early, and the "oohs and ahhs" punches were landed by Canelo. Canelo's face didn't look to to have a mark on it after the fight. Still, Triple deserved the nod. The outrage comes from the ridiculously wide scorecard.

It wasn't a Golovkin blowout, but it was definitely a Golovkin win.

Indeed. It was a good enough fight to justify a rematch even if the decision had been just.deadlything wrote:The thing is they could have easily had a rematch without Fucking GGG. The fight was somewhat close. GGG is better but Canelo had some moments

you got it. And how much money did the hotels and the casinos bring in? How much will the rematch bring the Vegas economy?gilgamesh wrote:Sometimes I wonder if stuff like this isn't about money. I don't know how you'd give Canelo the 11th, but I had him taking the 10th and the 12th. 10th was very close. 12th wasn't.TopNotch86 wrote:I had Canelo winning the first 3 and last 3. I had GGG and Canelo swapping the 1st 4 rounds. I then had GGG winning 5-9, Canelo winning 10, GGG winning 11, and Canelo winning the 12th

11 was a quiet round. Canelo landed the bigger shots golovkin landed a bit more. I thought canelos shots were more effect in 11.gilgamesh wrote:I don't know how you'd give Canelo the 11th, but I had him taking the 10th and the 12th. 10th was very close. 12th wasn't.TopNotch86 wrote:I had Canelo winning the first 3 and last 3.
