Loeffler/Triple passed on the fight using the tried and true "not-a-big-enough-name-yet" strategy after stating Zurdo would be the best option if Saunders and Canelo passed. It is what it is. Just accept it and move on to the legendary fight against Eubank Jr. Don't be a Superfan, Rimmy, and if so don the cape and tights proudly. Good attempt though. Pretty not bad.

Showtime's Espinoza said that the GBP announcement for a GGG-Alvarez fight on Sept 2017 was made just "to stop the bleeding" but one which Oscar and Canelo do not really intend to make.
