Cuadras had his best round since the 1st there, but it still wasn't enough. Gonzalez is just a relentless attacking machine in there, and there doesn't seem to be much Cuadras can do to stop it. He's doing all he can, but Gonzalez is just too much.

Very close round there. I thought Cuadras took it by a hair. He landed some of his best shots of the fight, and had some real nice flurries. Gonzalez still attacking full force, but not quite as effective in that round as he was in the previous 3, but he'll keep on attacking you can bet on that.

I thought Cuadras took the 6th as well. Another very close one. Gonzalez is bleeding over his right eye, and has some swelling under the left eye. He's definitely in one of his toughest fights here. Gonzalez is still applying a lot of pressure. Don't know how these two can keep up this pace.

Gonzalez takes the 7th. There's just no let up in his attack. Cuadras is still doing solid work, but sometimes the relentlessness of Gonzalez is just too much to deal with.

Now Cuadras is cut. I thought Gonzalez took that round. It was a closer one, but I'd have to favor Gonzalez as he was the more consistent fighter throughout the round.

I don't know how Gonzalez does it. He's looking tired like he's clearly feeling the pace, but still letting his hands go like a madman anyway. Cuadras is still landing good shots, Gonzalez is just landing more of them.

Very good round for Cuadras in the 10th. He landed a whole lot of solid shots on Gonzalez, and Gonzalez was looking pretty tired in that round. Cuadras needs every round here if he has any hope of retaining his title here. Some knockdowns wouldn't hurt either.

Bravo once againf or all you do on TTR, i know many appreciate it, but i have to say i think you are a GREAT addition to this hardcore boxing website

Another very good round for Cuadras in the 11th. He landed some solid body shots on Gonzalez toward the end of the 11th, and landed and has done some of his best work these last few rounds. Neither of them can afford to lose this final round.

Cuadras takes the 12th. I thought. I have it a draw. Gonzalez was still attacking down the stretch, but the steam had come off of his shots, and Cuadras was doing more damage over the final 3 rounds. Great fight!

Going to be a stupid 118-110 type decision.

I liked your scoring a lot for this fight. Lederman needs to hang it up he is terrible.

Thanks man. I never take my prefight predictions or any of that kinda thing into account when scoring a fight. I leave all the pre-fight talk aside and just let the fight speak for itself when watching it. I picked Haskins to win by decision against Stuart Hall earlier today for instance, but I had the fight scored for Hall.

Regardless of the score, that was a war. Far from an easy fight for roman, he got busted up.

Yeah I picked Cuadras to win it, and was saying coming in that even if he didn't pull off the victory that I think he'd be the toughest opponent Gonzalez has faced. I think at least on the 2nd part of that prediction I was correct. This is definitely the hardest fight I've ever seen Gonzalez in.

Wasn't exactly 118-110 but 117-111 was still too wide. That's giving Chocolatito every close round and not giving Cuadras any credit.

7-5 was a fair score, I wouldn't have a problem with a draw, but 117-111 is ridiculous.

Great fight! Chocolatito got busted up in the latter stages. Looked like Roman was going to win easy in the mid rounds but Cuadras got stronger as the fight went on. FOTY.
