The WBA's May 2016 ratings- based on results from May 6 through June 4- were posted on the WBA's site June 8.
The major changes are as follows:
Hevyweight- Ruslan Chagaev has been restored as the WBA World Champion.
Cruiserweight- Denis Lebedev is now listed as the "WBA-IBF Super Champion", Beibut Shumenov is now the WBA World Champion, and Yunier Dorticos is now the Interim champion and #1 contender.
Light Heavyweight- Dmitry Bivol is the new Interim champion and #1 contender.
Super Middleweight- WBA Super Champion Felix Sturm's status is under review.
Super Welterweight- Erislandy Lara is now the WBA Super Champion; Jack Culcay is now the WBA World Champion, and Miguel Cotto is the new #1 contender.
Super Lightweight- Ricky Burns is the new WBA World Champion and Kiryl Relikh is the new #1 contender.
Lightweight- Daud Yordan is the new #1 contender.

Great! Now he can rematch Fres Oquendo!
It was an epic match a few years ago, but it will be even better now that they're both older, Chagaev is coming off a KO loss, and Oquendo has done absolutely nothing in two years!
