I know he was retired but its a shame to hear that Will Smith from the Saints was shot and killed a few days ago.

Early reports are astonishing, but there appears to be some facts that are still being hashed through. Ive heard his "failed test" was under the amount traced that would earn a "failed test" in the NFL. Still waiting for the NFL to make a decision on this.

If he truly failed, than its over for him in the NFL. Next stop Arena Football.

49ers still have a whole month to trade Kap, so the deal isn't dead just yet.

Yeah, but he's mostly being signed for cheap, short-term, and simply to add depth. Jordan Reed is injury prone, and Logan Paulsen is coming off an Achilles injury.

Davis is merely a stopgap who will probably only be with the team for a season or two at most to help with the transition.
Might as well try to get Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez while you're at it.

We called Clint Didier, but turns out he's dead.
Which explains why the 'Skins finally cut RGKnee.

Titans trade the #1 overall pick plus a 4th and 6th round pick this year to the LA Rams, who give up their 1st round this year, plus two second-round picks, one third-round pick, and their first and third-round picks next year.

Fucking ridiculous.

Rams took a huge risk here with this trade. It can pay off, but I don't think it's likely. Wentz and Geoff don't look like top 3 picks in the nfl draft imo. They might end up being good, but teams are reaching for these guys. Rams gave up a lot to bring a franchise QB and these guys aren't worth the high selection/asking price. Idk how the Rams think they're rookie QB will be able to survive the Seahawks Or the Cardinals.

o

I agree, I was just talking about this yesterday. There is no guaranteed superstar QB this year coming out. I can see if they made this trade if there was another Andrew Luck type this year but to me there isn't. Maybe they felt they had to make some kind of splash because they are moving to LA, but they made a mistake imo.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15280 ... five-picks

Browns trade the #2 overall pick to the Eagles for the #8 overall this year, a 3rd-round and a 4th-round pick this year, their first-round pick in 2017, and their 2nd-round pick in 2018.

They intend to take whichever QB that the Rams don't take.

Even worse than the Rams overpaying for the #1 pick.

This won't be a tough sell:
Kerrigan, Preston Smith (8 sacks as a rookie), and Junior Gallete up front
Breeland as a more than capable CB 2
AND 2 Battles Vs. ODB every season.

Further, Josh and DeSean had similar exits and DJax could certainly give that extra nudge

DeAngelo Hall and Norman are apparently buddies, so maybe Hall is trying to talk the squad up and woo him a bit.

Breeland and Norman as #1/#2 corners is pretty fucking legit.

I don't believe in paying top CBs franchise QB type of money. Norman played on a great defense and benefitted a lot from it. It will be a little different for him in DC. Norman is good, but he's overpaid. He won't complete that whole contract.
