TTR's All -Time Top 20 Bantamweights list has been compiled and posted.
http://www.the13thround.com/phpBB2/view ... 13&t=98521
Five TTR members participated in the voting.
Eder Jofre finished at #1 unanimously. Panama Al Brown was #2 on two lists; Carlos Zarate, Fighting Harada, and Kid Williams were #2 on the others. Brown finished #2, Zarate #5, Harada #7, and Williams #8.
Next up is TTR's All-Time Top 10 Super Flyweights/Junior Bantamweights. Please PM me your lists. I'll compile and post the results in two weeks. After that, it will be TTR's All-Time Top 20 Flyweights. Lists for that are due in six weeks.

Re: TTR's All-Time Divisional Rankings
Jofre had to be a lock at #1
After that it was hard... Zarate had such a run at bantamweight... one of the hardest puncher to have entered the ring all-time
Panama Brown looked like a very flamboyant and fun fighter to watch but his lenghty physiqueand whipping motion made his shots a little wide... something imo fighters like zarate or Olivares with his jab and inside work and pop would've capitalized on.
The footage available on Dixon i assume don't do him any justice
VERY VERY fun division to look at

Looks good. I'm glad to see Veeraphol Sahaprom and Nonito Donaire got some votes. I would have liked to have included them but they just "missed the cut". There were a bunch of guys, most of whom I see in #21 to #33, who I considered. A few didn't make it all- Rodolfo Casanova and Alphonse Halimi come to mind- but that was to be expected.
I'm already starting to mull over who will be my top ten all-time at 115.

Re: TTR's All-Time Divisional Rankings
TTR's All-Time Top Ten Super Flyweights/Junior Bantamweights list has been compiled and posted.
Only two TTR members, including myself, participated....I guess there's a silver lining to that, it made it very easy to compile.
Khaosai Galaxy finished #1, Gilberto Roman finished #2, and Johnny Tapia and Jiro Watanabe finished tied for #3.
You can check out the entire list (11 fighters) at:
http://www.the13thround.com/phpBB2/view ... 13&t=98521
TTR's All-Time Top 20 Flyweights list will be compiled in FOUR weeks. Maybe we can have six members participate like we did with the bantamweights. More would be even better but six would be very nice!

I'll get in on this sort of thing in the future, I don't know enough about the Flyweight division to make a Top 20 list of the best fighters of all time in that weight class.

Re: TTR's All-Time Divisional Rankings
The above date is incorrect. I said four weeks but posted a date giving us only two weeks to get our flyweight lists done. I'll actually be compiling TTR's All-Time Top 20 Flyweight list on June 10.KSTAT124 wrote:TTR's All-Time Top 20 Flyweights list will be compiled on May 27. So far, I only have my list. I know two others are being worked on. If anyone else wants to participate, you still have eight days to go.

Re: TTR's All-Time Divisional Rankings
TTR's All-Time Top 15 Light Flyweights/Junior Flyweights have been posted. Twenty fighters received points with ten being included on both lists used to compile the all-time rankings.
The first four are Hall of Famers as are #6 and #13 (the odds-on favorite to finish #1 when the all-time top ten minimumweights/mini-flyweights/strawweights list is compiled and posted in TWO weeks).

Just a reminder- TTR's All-Time Top Ten Strawweights/Minimumweights/Mini-Flyweights list will be compiled and posted WEDNESDAY night.
My list is ready and I've been promised one other. Somebody surprise me. I'd like to see at least three opinions represented.

With the exception of the super bantamweight/junior featherweight list, the lists were based on more than just one opinion.gilgamesh wrote:See....I could've swore I just did this list like 5 minutes ago, and now it's not here.
