Awful fight, but I hear Wallin-Whyte is next and that's much better. Wallin is overdue for a good opponent, he lost his momentum from the good showing vs Fury and dominating Brezeale.

Wallin was suffered a small cut by his left eye in the sixth round. Apparently, it had no bearing on his performance over the last two rounds.

Super middleweight James Perkins won. He scored a first round knockout over Pablo Ernesto Oliveto, a 40-year-old journeyman from Argentina.

It was a good idea for Wallin to get a bit of work before he goes into a meaningful fight. He's been sitting for too long waiting for a fight.
