Kstat would be better with the exact terms and all but basically McAllister is now fighting for the BIBA which is mainly unsanctioned and not reconized by boxrec... So imo he was looking for sanctioned fights... but that is just a guess as far as why in Ghana...

McAllister came in this bout as the defending WBO Africa junior middleweight champion. He also came into the bout with a 46-3 record as BoxRec has excluded 10 of his wins including the one in which he won the then vacant WBO Africa title.

There's a much bigger problem with BoxRec than just their refusal to recognize bouts fought under the auspices of the BIBA. Many bouts, most of which have nothing to do with the BIBA, never make it into BoxRec's database.

Paul Peers is an experienced pro fighter. With this "win", his record now is 9-5. One of his losses that doesn't appear on his BoxRec record was to former two-time WBO World featherweight champion Scott Harrison (TKO-3 on 7/18/20).
