I think he is just hinting around to get a beer for his son. Duder is looking for sleepy juice for the boy.

I drank a lot of beer when I lived in Colorado.

I'm just trying to recall the better ones I had when I lived there.

Boulder Beer:
Hazed & Infused
Sweaty Betty

My current summer beer is Boulevard (KC) Wheat.

Nice! Stella has long been a favorite of mine as well. Good beer to drink on a summer evening sitting in the backyard.

i like it ice cold... i put it outside my window at that time of the year and it gets almost to the freezing point... that's where it's at it's best imo

Dogfish Head makes a delicous beer called Raison D'Etre. Tastes like raisin.

Victory Brewing makes this---it's pretty good, but a little hoppy for me.

Victory does another beer that is similiar, but a bit lighter, called Mad King's Weiss. Can't find t hat shit anywhere, but it's delicious.

I used to buy the sampler 12-packs from Odell Brewing, Tommyknocker, and Boulder Beer when I lived in CO. It was always good to have a variety of beers to try.

But if I had to pick just one it would be Red Rocket Ale or 90 Shilling Ale.

Dogfish 90 IPA is my all-time favorite!

Great Lakes Seasonal beers are all really good. Their Christmas ale is really good and Their Conways Irish Ale is second on my list of greatness

Oh shit, this thread is my jam right here.

Hype - Have you tried the oatmeal stout at LB in Hays? That shit is awesome, also a GABF award winner.

My personal end all be all beer, the one the really sent me on a journey of hoppy love - Bells Two Hearted Ale. It's a single IPA made before single IPA turned into double IPAs. The centennial hops provide aromas of grapefruit with a slight floral note. It drinks beautifully, just enough hop bite to know what you are drinking, but extremely drinkable at the same time. Clean, crisp, simply perfect.

I am a lover of Left Hand Milk Stout, thick, creamy, and roasty. I have made a couple really good clones of it as well.

One of my other favorite IPA's is Titan IPA from Great Divide. A much more bold single IPA (I would almost consider it a double) than the Two Hearted, with more pine notes than floral, but keeps a slight citrus component. Very well balanced, medium body with a nice light copper color.

Old Rasputin from North Coast is a really good russian imperial stout. Lots of roast with a assortment of character. High gravity, but easy drinking at the same time.

I've got plenty more to add, but time for me to head home.

Duder, I'm sure you're probably steps ahead of me but around here I'd recommend trying the DC Brau and Flying Dog portfolio. I'm also a big fan of the previously mentioned Dogfish Head 90 Minute.
