I love the IPAs they're making these days. I hear people call them a 'fad' but its a heck of tasty fad.

My only complaint on IPA's are the price.... However, the taste and drink-ability is unsurpassed compared to domestic American beers....

Been drinking a lot of Boulevard stuff lately. Good, underrated brewery out of Kansas City. Neighborhood store does a flat price build your own 6-pack for $9.99, and for whatever reason their beer guy puts the Bourbon Barrel Quad, Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, and Dark Truth Imperial Stout all in there amongst the other stuff to choose from, even though the 4-packs of those are right next to the singles and priced at $10.99-$14.99. Usually load up on the quads if they have 6 singles, then look for the imperial stout, then the farmhouse ale, in that order. Farmhouse is the lowest ABV at I think 8.5%, so along with being cheap and tasty, I definitely get a good buzz on.

I don't drink beer.

I'm over the "Super Duper Quadruple Hops" thing (no problem with the higher alcohol % though), but I do like me some ales.

Especially the Belgian Trappist stuff.
