Greek Turkey Burgers

Greek Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 scallions, chopped
1/3 cup fresh minced garlic
1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 pounds ground turkey
1 medium zucchini (half grated)
1/2 cup finely crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon dried oregano
4 large premium burger buns

In a large bowl combine all ingredients mixing well ; then form into 4 patties and grill on medium high turning just once about 7-9 minutes on each side... Burger are done when pierced w/ a knife & the juices run clear.....

Tzatziki Sauce:

1 small cucumber, seeded & grated
Bunch fresh mint, leaves finely chopped
Bunch fresh dill, leaves finely chopped
Zest of 1 lemon
1 cup Greek-style yogurt
Kosher salt to taste

These look awesome. I plan to try them sometime. Would they be good on the charcoal grill?

Also, Chef, forgive me if I have asked you this before...

Do you have your own ultimate, personal favorite hamburger patty recipe and method?

I would love to hear about it. I love charcoal grilling and trying new things

I love charcoal grilling too as it lends an awesome flavor to meats.... I also have a gas grill too as you're ready to cook in 5 min....
