Anyone tried that "Nashville Hot Chicken"?

Apparently a Twaddle...er, Twitter furor has erupted over it, with supposedly Real Nashville-ians irate at KFC for slapping their name on it.

Question 1, is it any good? (Keeping in mind that this is a chain restaurant)

Question 2, why have I never heard of this concept? It looks saucy, and blazing, and pickle-y, and all those other incredibly unhealthy things that are delicious.
