#47- I guess I'll go with Green too...if I'm wrong about any of my other Feb.-Part 1 picks, I'll be surprised. If I'm wrong about this one, I won't be.

SUPERFIGHT #43-

Junior Lightweight Bout-
Emanuel Navarrete (The Ring #1, TTR #2, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #2- all at 126; 37-1, 31 KOs)
TKO-9 1:57
Liam Wilson (TTR #10; 11-2, 7 KOs)
- This bout was fought for the vacant WBO World junior lightweight title. Navarrete's WBO World featherweight title was not on the line.
- Wilson, ranked #3 by the WBO, was a substitute. Navarrete was originally slated to fight WBO #2 ranked Oscar Valdez (30-1, 23 KOs) for the vacant title. Wilson

- Wilson rocked and dropped Navarrete in round 4. The knockdown came late in the round and Navarrete was able to recover during the minute rest period.
- Navarrete decked Wilson in round 9. Like Navarrete in round 4, Wilson was able to beat the count. Navarrete had time to continue his assault. He trapped Wilson on the ropes and unleashed a barrage resulting in referee Chris Flores stopping the bout.
