KO-10 2:59
Champion Miguel Berchelt (The Ring #1, TTR #2, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #2; 38-2, 34 KOs/37-2, 1 NC, 33 KOs as per BoxRec)
- Valdez sent Berchelt sprawling into the ropes in round 4. Being that the ropes were the only thing keeping Berchelt up, referee Russell Mora correctly ruled a knockdown.
- Valdez also scored knockdowns in round 9 and round 10. Referee Mora immediately stopped the bout when Berchelt hit the canvas in round 10.
