TTR CHALLENGE #8 FINAL STANDINGS

A tough week for many of us. One fight (Chris John-Jackson Asiku) was scratched, leaving us with 10 fights worth a total of 120 points. 9 of us played this week (not counting the Challenge #8 players who only entered picks for the superfight, Cotto-Margarito) and 5 of us earned less than half the points available, picking up only 36 to 53 points. g1b6er15h had the highest weekly total, 85 points, and that was more than enough to lift him up to 1st place. Andyl had the 2nd best total, 73 points, allowing him to rise from 6th to 4th place. cyrustheoneandonly and BadlyBrowned each picked up 65 points, resulting in cyrus holding on to 3rd place and BadlyBrowned holding on to 5th place.

The rest of the final top ten: novakstep (2nd), KSTAT124 (6th), Quick Slick (7th), hughes205 (8th), RASTA666 (9th), and NaSaRiO (10th).

Congratulations to all, especially g1b6er15h, who has won the Challenge for a record 3rd time.

Fight #2- Jesus Soto Karass TKO-8 David Estrada.....10 points for picking Soto Karass plus 2 points for pickig him by KO/TKO
Fight #3- Rafael Concepcion KO-10 AJ Banal.....Had anyone picked Concepcion, he would have earned 11 points- no one did therefore no one picked up the extra 2 points for picking Concepcion by KO/TKO either
Fight #4- Cesar Canchila UD 12 Giovanni Segura.....Had anyone picked Canchila, he would have earned 11 points- no one did therefore no one got the 2 points for picking Canchila by decision either
Fight #5- Antono Margarito TKO-11 Miguel Cotto.....10 points plus 2 points
Fight #6- SCRATCH- Chris John vs. Jackson Asiku.....postponed.....controversy regarding John and Asiku not showing up at the weigh-in seem absurd because the fight had already been postponed. Apparently, no one informed the WBA supervisor at the site or the local officials in charge of the weigh-in.
Fight #7- Billy Dib UD 12 Zolani Marali.....9 points for picking Dib plus 2 points for picking him by decision
Fight #8- Anthony Mundine UD 10 Crazy Kim.....9 points for picking Mundine plus 2 points for picking him by KO/TKO
Fight #9- Daisuke Naito KO-10 Tomonobu Shimizu.....9 points plus 2 points
Fight #10- Takefumi Sakata UD 12 Hiroyuki Hisatama.....9 points plus 2 points
Fight #11- Sebastian Lujan UD 10 Jose Luis Castillo.....11 points plus 2 points

Congrats g1b6eri5h. Thanks for the fun times guys, cant wait to play next challange. When does it start Kstat? I know Chef wanted to get in on the next one.

Thanks especially to you Kstat, you do a ton of work for the challanges and im sure im not alone in saying we appreciate it.

The next "regular" Challenge, TTR Challenge #9, will start with fights on August 29 and 30. They will be posted on or before August 24.

In the meanwhile, play the Supplementary Challenge for fun. This week it features, among its 10 regular fights and 4 substitute bouts, the Clottey-Judah and Kirilov-Darchinyan fights.
