FINAL DK STANDINGS....Challenge 3

This was the most UNPREDICTABLE challenge ever... as i mentioned before, never has a challenge gone down to the wire like this with so many players with the possibility to win... Also, there was a record number of players that played this time with and all of them will be listed in the final standings, even guys who just picked once.

AND WE HAVE A NEW CHALLENGE CHAMPION... that person is TRINIVIBES... he edged out both Bigboy KO and Boppa by a single point.. Yikes!!... Good work Trinivibes. And congrats to everyone in the top ten, good work for staying in the race all quarter long.

Also, i did not want to make mibro judas feel bad, but if he picked in time and gotten the wonjongkam fight in and got the 8 points, he would be the champion right now

The manny-morales fight was the difference as if it went the other way, bigboy would have been champ...

Finally, I added something as during the last challenge, BGMets asked me if I tracked the points if someone just picked the favorites to win. I did that and here are the results. The points included giving the benefit of the doubt in 10-10 fights that the favorite picker would pick them all right (which obviously wouldnt happen in real life LOL).

Favorites AND picking all outcomes correctly 519
Favorites AND getting all outcomes wrong 377

So basically, if someone in this challenge somehow got all the favorites and outcomes correctly, they wouldve got 519 and won the challenge by 5... Picking all favorites and getting all the outcomes wrong wouldve landed player at #37. Most players get about 40-50% of the outcomes correctly and that would have netted them around 440 points and about 17th place...

So at tthe end of the day, picking all favorites can get you in the top 20, but wont get you to be the champion.. You have to pick the good upsets... THis year there were a bit more underdogs winning. When I did this last challenge with less upsets, the points were higher, but the picking all favorites would have still lost the challenge, but come in the top 10...
