Ya it could still be called the challenge though, unless this current format picks up some steam it looks like a long long time on the shelf could be on the horizon.

Only problem is it looks like participation on the site as a whole has taken a hit.

So im not sure if there'll be enough people interested.

Also still have to work out on the format... setting up matches and how points are scored. We'd use the scoring system we have now, but for the head to head and rankings... i'm thinking something like how they do in soccer or hockey.. how a W is 3 points and a draw is 1.

My biggest problem is setting the match ups and opponents seeing each other's picks. There's room for manipulation. But i guess it's the same as the regular challenge.

But mostly, determining the schedule would be key. Maybe come up with seeds, just based off of post count... and then match everyone up week by week.

Until the end and we count up the point totals... you'd still be able to have the regular challenge too.

Looks like a few months on the shelf might be whats in store then.
From the sound of it somebody that we all identify as being neutral would need to sit out and be up to recieving picks via pm so they can be posted Friday morning.

Just in the nick of time!

1. Chudinov MD
2. Dogboe UD
3. Ledesma TKO
4. Velasquez TKO (but if he wins by decision instead I won't be surprised. I will be surprised if Pichardo Liriano upsets him.)

I haven't had time to give it much thought. After I finish TTR's review of 2017, I'll see what our options are.
