- Perez, who weighed in at 131, was a late substitute. Magdaleno, who weighed in at 126 3/4, was originally scheduled to fight Edward Mansito (13-3-2, 7 KOs). Mansito had to withdraw because visa difficulties prevented his entry into the United States. He was able to take a fight in Mexico instead:
