Lots of unexpected shakeups have called a lot of cancellations, but it's still a busy week for the challenge. I think we still got 10 or so fights on of the original 14.

RESULTS and POINTS BREAKDOWN:

Fight #1- Vacant WBO World Junior Featherweight Title-
Nonito Donaire (WBO #2, TTR #3, Transnational #3, The Ring #3; 36-3, 23 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 12
Cesar Juarez (WBO #1, TTR #13; 17-4, 13 KOs)
- Donaire decked Juarez twice in the fourth round.
- The scores were 116-110, 116-110, and 117-109.
- Scoring the bout for TTR, I had Donaire as the winner, 116-111. I gave Donaire the first five rounds with him winning the fourth by a 10-7 score. I then had Juarez winning rounds six through nine. I scored the tenth round 10-10- Donaire won the first half of the round and possibly broke Juarez' nose. Juarez then won the second half. Donaire was down in the 10th but it was ruled a slip. I gave the last two rounds to Donaire. He controlled the first two minutes of the eleventh before Juarez staged a mini-rally during the round's final sixty seconds. Donaire took the twelfth by landing the much harder, more effective punches.
.....8 points for picking Donaire plus 2 points for picking him by decision.

Is the last fight still in the mix?
Have emergency double shift night work again but for only 3 nights possibly a 4th.
In any case will be able to tally scores later in the week.

Sounds like by all rights me and Gigs got burned on the Kaufman pick. The thing Rasta wanted to implement sounds good in some respects but with everything in life you gotta take the good with the bad.
