.....9 points for picking Miura plus 2 points for picking him by KO/TKO

Fight #2- Vacant WBO World Lightweight Title-
Raymundo "Sugar Ray" Beltran (The Ring #1, TTR #4, TBRBoard #4, WBO #4; 30-7-1, 18 KOs)

Takahiro Ao (WBO #1, TTR #13; 27-4-1, 12 KOs)
- The title was available to Ao only because Beltran weighed in at 135.4.
- Ao weighed in at 134.8 and rehydrated to 140. Beltran rehydrated to 148.
- Beltran floored Ao with an overhand right in the second round. After Ao rose and resumed fighting, Beltran landed a barrage of punches. Referee Tony Weeks wisely stepped in and saved Ao from further punishment.
- Beltran's victory leaves the WBO title vacant.

- Rodriguez lost two points for low blows- one in the fifth round and one in the eighth.
- Lomachenko scored knockdowns in the seventh and ninth rounds. Rodriguez was counted out after the ninth round knockdown.

- Cayetano was a late substitute. Santa Cruz was originally scheduled to fight Anthony Settoul (20-3, 8 KOs).
- All three judges and the two unofficial ringside scorers, Harold Lederman of HBO and Steve Farhood of Showtime, had Santa Cruz winning 100-90.
- Scoring the bout for TTR, I also had Santa Cruz winning 100-90.

Fight #5- BONUS FIGHT-

- The scores were 118-110, 116-112, and 116-112.
- The Pay-Per-View's unofficial ringside scorers Harold Lederman of HBO and Steve Farhood of Showtime scored the bout 117-111 and 118-110 for Mayweather respectively.
- Scoring the bout for TTR, I had Mayweather winning 116-112.
.....20 points for picking Mayweather plus 4 points for picking him by decision

Fight #6- JEOPARDY FIGHT-
WBA World Super Featherweight Super Championship-
Super Champion Takashi Uchiyama (TTR #1, Transnational #1, The Ring #1; 23-0-1, 19 KOs)

Jomthong Chuwatana (WBA #7, WBC #8, The Ring #10, IBF #15; 9-1, 4 KOs)
- Uchiyama floored Chuwatana for the full ten-count with a wicked right to the body.
- Uchiyama is now 10-0-1 in world title bouts and has made ten successful title defenses.
- Chuwatana, the OPBF champion who also holds a world lightweight title in Muay Thai, was challenging for a boxing world title for the first time. He had earned his opportunity with wins over Dong-Hyuk Kim, Ronald Pontillas, and, most importantly, Daiki Kaneko.
.....7 points for picking Uchiyama plus 2 points for picking him by decision (Those of us who picked Chuwatana lost 7 points.)

Fight #7- WBA World Light Flyweight Title-
Champion Ryoichi Taguchi (TTR #4, Transnational #4, The Ring #5; 22-2-1, 9 KOs)

Kwanthai Sithmorseng (WBA #14; 49-4-1, 26 KOs)
- This was Taguchi's first world title defense. He is now 3-1 against fighters who hold or have held world titles.
- Sithmorseng, a former WBA world minimumweight champion, is now 1-3 in world title contests.
.....9 points for picking Taguchi plus 2 points for picking him by KO/TKO

Note: the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board's rankings, previously listed with "TBRBoard" or "TBRB", will now be listed with "Transnational". The change, at least here at TTR, took place with fights that took place on May 6.

Also note: We had 78 points available this week. hardcorebee24 and RASTA666 each earned the week's highest, 72.
