1. 10-9 Ponce not much happening Ponce landing body shots
2.10-9 Ponce landing body shots and won the one exchange, Broner just pawing with the jab and hitting gloves.
3. 10-9 Ponce was pretty good round, Broner landed the hardest punch but Ponce landing a lot more punches.
4.10-9 Ponce close round, Broner could have won this round if he would have decided to throw punches in the first 2:30 of the round.
5.9-10 Broner Finally woke up and started throwing punches. Broner has too much speed and power.
6. 9-10 Broner Closer round than it should have been. Broner half assing it but he did land to good upper cuts.
7. 9-10 Broner another close round Broner should be doing better.
8.10-9 Ponce, Broner just gave this round away. He makes Ponce miss but doesn't punch him. he let Ponce steal the round.
9. 10-9 Ponce very close round but Ponce won the exchanges at the end of the round.
10. 10-9 Ponce another close round because Broner decides to fight for about 45 seconds.

97-93 Ponce
Broner is faster, stronger, and has more skill. It is frustrated as hell to watch him fight. I would hate to be a fan of his. He should have dominated Ponce.

1st round: 10-9 - Ponce de Leon - More activity and landed the better blows. Broner just didn't do enough.
2nd round: 10-9 - Ponce de Leon - More telling blows. Closer round. Broner needs to throw more punches.
3rd round: 10-9 - Ponce de Leon - Broner landed some good shots but they were so far apart that he was being outworked.
4th round: 10-9 - Ponce de Leon - Close round but Broner came on a little too late. When he opens up he has good success.
5th round: 10-9 - Broner - Decided to actually throw some and did very well. I don't like how he thinks he is Roy Jones Jr. or something. Quit dancing and fight.
6th round: 10-9 - Broner - Not much going on that round as far as big hits.
7th round: 10-9 - Broner - Landed some good shots and de Leon landed some good shots as well but not enough to take the round.
8th round: 10-10 - Even - Just thought both guys had their moments and it was pretty even.
9th round: 10-9 - Ponce de Leon - Landed some very telling blows and actually showed a modicum of defense this round.
10th round: 10-9 - Broner - Close round but Broner finally started stringing his punches together in the last 30 seconds.

96-95 for Daniel Ponce de Leon

Haha yes we did. I couldn't remember my exact score but I do remember it was a close fight when I watched it live.

Same here. I remember thinking Ponce de Leon won the fight but Broner would be given some of the rounds that he probably shouldn't get.

Too old, just wasn't your day, whatever the reason is. In the end, everybody gets beaten. The most you can hope for is that you stay on top a while. Be the best."

Aleksandr#yurhenko wrote:Im looking forward to this fight. Maidana is strong and durable but Broner is faster and more accurate with his punches.

Broner has good defense but he is hittable, so Maidana has a punchers chance. But I think Broner ends up stopping Maidana in the later rounds of their bout.
