Ultimately, the speed and footwork from Dirrell is what made the difference. Froch was Clueless in front of Dirrell's speed and mobility... Dirrell used an unfriendly mainstream fan style, but exposed lots of Froch's limits as a fighter.

Finally finished watching the fight, scored it 8-3-1 Dirrell. Fairly similar to Griss and Astor's by the look of it. If you judge by clean and effective punching, then Dirrell did that for the majority of the fight.

TTR Re-Scored: Carl Froch vs Andre Dirrell – 2009-10-17

TTR Judges chose to rescore the hotly contested, and slightly controversial, Super Middleweight bout between Carl Froch and Andre Dirrell match – in anticipation of Froch’s matchup with Glen Johnson. Three esteemed members from TTR served as the official judges for this bout: the13r, RimmyJice, and Tainos.

Round 1: Both fighters were feeling each other out, as is typical in big fights. It was a very close round, with two TTR Judges giving the round to Dirrell, and one judge to Froch.

Round 2: Froch was deemed the aggressor in this round, but Dirrell was landing the better shots – utilizing a good jab and demonstrating his countering ability. All three TTR judges gave the round to Dirrell.

Round 3: Froch lands a significant right hand that snapped Dirrell’s head back, but Dirrell’s countering ability and movement are frustrating Froch. Two judges gave the round to Dirrell, with one judge scoring the round even.

Round 4: This was a very clear round for Dirrell, as Froch landed next to nothing. Dirrell’s counter-punching is showing to be a real problem for Froch in this round. Dirrell attacks when he sees openings, but is comfortable fighting off the back foot and countering the slower Froch. All three judges gave the round to Dirrell.

Round 5: Dirrell’s superior speed is shining through in this round. He’s landing the cleaner blows and frustrating Froch to no end. Froch attempts a hip-toss maneuver out of what appears to be sheer frustration. All three judges gave the round to Dirrell.

Round 6: This is a close round, but Froch was landing the more effective, cleaner punches. One of our judges believes Froch appears to be taking over during this round. The lone dissenting judge thought it was a close round, giving the round to Dirrell for landing the best blow, a counter-left hook. Two judges gave the round to Froch, one to Dirrell.

Round 7: Another close, ugly round where it appears that Dirrell is beginning to hold on. Froch was landing some good shots from the clinch, and may have hurt Dirrell at the end of the round. The fight is no longer clean after this round; both fighters appear willing to engage in dirty tactics in order to impose their will on the other fighter. All three judges gave the round to Froch.

Round 8: Yet again, a close round between two great fighters. Dirrell was landing good jabs followed up by combinations in spurts. However, Froch was landing the bigger punches, especially on the inside. Froch lands a huge punch towards the end of the round to steal the round. All three judges gave the round to Froch.

Round 9: A pattern is forming with ugly, close rounds. Dirrell is fighting off his back foot, trying to counter Froch as he’s coming in. However, Froch is landing the bigger punches, especially a few body shots. Dirrell comes on at the end and tries to steal the round with his jab, but this is Froch’s round. All three judges scored the round for Froch.

Round 10: Froch was performing well this round, and Dirrell was deducted a point for excessive holding. Perhaps a questionable call, but the referee felt Dirrell was hanging on too much. It appeared like Froch may have been hurt by a combination of punches from Dirrell toward the end of the round. Due to the point deduction, all three judges score this round even (9-9).

Round 11: This round was all Dirrell, who may have been inspired by the point deduction in the previous round. Dirrell may have hurt Froch at the beginning of the round and was showcasing his efficiency and phenomenal skill set. All three judges scored the round for Dirrell.

Round 12: Not many punches landed in this round, but Dirrell was more effective – landing a flurry and a few combinations. All three judges gave the round to Dirrell.

Final Scores:
the13r: 116-111 Dirrell
Tainos: 115-112 Dirrell
RimmyJice: 114-114 DRAW

A majority of unofficial TTR judges also had the match scored for Dirrell, with one giving Froch the fight by a single round.

However, TTR has re-written history, giving Andre Dirrell a Majority Decision over Carl Froch. While this was a highly contested fight, TTR is convinced that the judges got it wrong on fight night.

Yep, I scored it 8-3-1 Dirrell, which was very similar to your score. From the rounds you listed, Dirrell has a case for the 6th round as well.

Me, but I wish it wasn't me. Why? Are they shitty or something? Because if they're shitty, it's defnitely not me.

Also, Carl Froch won't let TTR follow him anymore. I think he has us blocked or something. Fucking dick.
