TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION:

Saturday, January 13, 2024-

Quebec City, Quebec, Canada-

Lineal and Transnational Boxing Rankings Board World Light Heavyweight Titles-
Champion Artur Beterbiev (The Ring #2; TTR #7 P4P, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #7 P4P; 20-0, 20 KOs)
TKO-7 2:00
Callum "Mundo" Smith (TTR #3, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #3, The Ring #3; 29-2, 21 KOs)
- This bout was also fought for Beterbiev's IBF, WBC, and WBO World light heavyweight titles.
- Smith came into the bout having never been knocked down. After being pummeled for six rounds, Smith was floored twice in round 7.
- After the second knockdown, Smith's trainer, James "Buddy" McGirt, signaled for the referee, Michael Griffin, to stop the bout. Wisely, Griffin did.

Super Middleweight Bout-
Christian Mbilli (Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #2, The Ring #2, TTR #4; 26-0, 22 KOs)
TKO-6 3:00
Rohan Murdock (27-3, 19 KOs)
- Mbilli dominated, landing 190 of the 360 power punches he threw.
- Murdock showed heart and a solid chin. He fired back when he could but Mbilli's non-stop pressure was more than Murdock was able to deal with effectively.
- After the sixth round ended, Murdock's trainer advised referee Steve St. Germain to stop the bout. St. Germain humanely honored the request.
- Mbilli retained the WBC Continental Americas and WBA International super middleweight titles.

Bantamweight Bout-
Jason "Mayhem" Moloney (The Ring #1, TTR #3, Transnational Boxing Rankings Board #3; 27-2, 19 KOs)

BOUTS FEATURING FIGHTERS NOT CURRENTLY RANKED BY TTR WHICH MAY IMPACT TTR's RANKINGS:

Saturday, January 13, 2024-

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates-

Junior Lightweight Bout-
Moussa Gholam (21-1, 13 KOs)
KO-4 1:23
Lunga Sitemela (16-2, 10 KOs)
- This was a non-title bout. Sitemela's World Boxing Federation World super featherweight title was not on the line.
- BoxRec lists Sitemela's record as 15-2, 9 KOs. Inexplicably, it is missing Sitemela's June 9, 2023 World BoxIng Federation-winning TKO-3 victory over then defending champion Steven Bagwasi even though that result is readily available in BoxRec's Wiki section for Sitemela.

Buenos Aires, Distrito Federal, Argentina-

Junior Flyweight Bout-
Junior Leandro Zarate (23-4, 9 KOs)
TKO-4
Luis Golindano (19-8, 14 KOs)
- This bout was fought for Zarate's WBC Continental Latino American light flyweight title.
- Zarate floored Golindano three times in round 4.

Cartagena, Colombia-

Heavyweight Bout-
Luis 'King Kong' Ortiz (34-3, 2 NCs, 29 KOs)
KO-1 1:46
Francisco Cordero (41-19, 32 KOs)
- This was Ortiz' first bout since his UD 12 loss to Andy Ruiz, Jr. on September 4, 2022.
- Ortiz weighed in at 258; Cordero at 210.
- This was Cordero's fifth consecutive loss.
