April Jay "Astroboy" Abne (7-1, 3 KOs)
- This non-title bout was highly anticipated. Diagan, who once held the Philippines Boxing Federation light flyweight title, has over wins Arvin Magramo and Jerry Francisco while OPBF Silver flyweight champion Abne, whose title was, obviously, not at stake, has wins over Ronel Sumalpong and Bienvenido Ligas.
- Diagan, whose only loss came in his fourth pro bout when he dropped a six-round decision to Marco John Rementizo, decked Abne three times to bring their showdown to an abrupt and shocking conclusion.
