BOUTS FEATURING FIGHTERS NOT RANKED BY TTR WHICH MAY IMPACT TTR'S RANKINGS:

Friday, August 13, 2021-

Marbella, Andalucia, Spain-

Featherweight Bout-
Karim Guerfi (30-5, 1 ND, 9 KOs)
Split Dec. 12
Andoni Gago (24-4-4, 7 KOs)
- I like it when a fighter who I think has reached the end of the line proves me wrong. 34-year-old Karim Guerfi of France did exactly that.
- Guerfi, a former three-time EBU European bantamweight champion, had his third reign end abruptly with a brutal one-round TKO loss to Lee McGregor this past March. In his first bout since then, he moved up two weight classes to challenge for the EBU European featherweight title. The champion, Andoni Gago, 36, was unbeaten in his last ten bouts (8-0-2) and was defending the title in his home country of Spain.
- After 12 competitive rounds, the verdict was up to the judges. Spain's Agapito Gomez, who once challenged for the EBU European flyweight title, had Gago winning 115-113 while Christophe Humbert of France had Guerfi as the winner, 116-112. The deciding card was that of geographically neutral Hakan Sindemark of Sweden, who saw Guerfi as the victor, 115-113.
- The underdog had become a four-time European champ.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates-

Super Welterweight Bout-
Austin Trout (34-5-1, 18 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 10
Alejandro Davila (22-3-2, 9 KOs)
- The scores were 96-95, 97-94, and 100-92.

Saturday, August 14, 2021-

Brentwood, Essex, England-

Bantamweight Bout-
Ukashir Farooq (16-1, 6 KOs)
Unan. Dec. 10
Luis Gerardo Castillo (28-3, 18 KOs)
- This bout was contested for the vacant WBC International title.
- Farooq won by the scores of 100-90, 100-90, and 100-91.

Carson, California, USA-

Bantamweight Bout-
Juan Carlos Payano (23-5, 11 KOs)
KO-5 3:00
Raymond Tabugon (22-13-1, 11 KOs)
- Payano dropped Tabugon in round 1.
- Tabugon's corner informed referee Edward Collantes that Tabugon had had enough after the fifth round.
- Payano was awarded a KO win under California State Athletic Commission rules.

Bantamweight Bout-
Jonas Sultan (17-5, 11 KOs)
KO-7 2:29
Sharone Carter (12-5, 3 KOs)
- Sultan floored Carter in round 7. Carter beat the count but could not continue.
- Sultan was awarded a KO victory under California State Athletic Commission rules.

Thursday, August 19, 2021-
