Listed below are results from title bouts of any kind and bouts featuring at least one boxer with a winning record including at least 10 victories. Bouts of special interest which do not meet the stated criteria may be included on occasion. A reason why a bout not meeting that criteria is listed will be provided.

Results will include, when applicable, Top 15 divisional and Pound-For-Pound rankings of TTR, Top 10 divisional and Pound-For-Pound rankings of the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and The Ring and Top 15 divisional rankings of the WBC, the WBA, the IBF, the WBO, and the IBO. - Kunimoto earned his shot at the Japanese title by knocking out Shoma Fukumoto in the sixth round on April 5, 2019.
- Takesako dropped the JBC #1/OPBF #10 ranked Kunimoto twice- the first time with a left hook and the second time with a barrage of punches which resulted in the challenger being counted out.

- Hall of Famer Steve Farhood of Showtime had it 97-93 for Roman agreeing that Roman had won round 3 and the last six frames of the contest.
- I scored the bout for TTR's Main Page and had Roman the winner, 98-92. Like two of the judges, I gave Espinoza the first two rounds and gave the rest to Roman.

- Takesako, whose OPBF title was not on the line, dedicated the fight to the memory of his father, Kazuyoshi. The elder Takesako died eleven days earlier at the age of 55 due to COVID-19.
- Kunimoto earned his shot at the Japanese title by knocking out Shoma Fukumoto in the sixth round on April 5, 2019.
- Takesako dropped the JBC #1/OPBF #10 ranked Kunimoto twice- the first time with a left hook and the second time with a barrage of punches which resulted in the challenger being counted out.
