Bouts of special interest featuring two unranked fighters, neither of whom has accumulated 10 wins, may be included on occasion. A reason as to why the bout is listed will be provided.

- The 44-year-old Horn was making his professional boxing debut.
- Lindquist, 50, was fighting for the first time since his UD 4 loss to Martez Williamson on February 25, 2017. He was also fighting as a heavyweight for the first time having previously fought in the super middleweight, light heavyweight, and cruiserweight divisions.

- Olas halted the 33-year-old Brown of Florissant, Missouri in the main event on the card at the Venice Arena in Venice, Florida.

- Nakagawa-Matsuo, held at Korakuen Hall, was the main event on Tokyo's second professional boxing card since boxing resumed in Japan on July 12.
- Matsuo came into the bout ranked by the JBC as the #1 contender for Nakagawa's title.
- Nakagawa won by the scores of 88-84, 88-84, and 88-85 thus making the first successful defense of his second reign as the Japanese super flyweight champion. He is now 3-1 in Japanese title bouts.
