- After vomiting and being unable to walk to his dressing room, Dadashev was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital. He lost consciousness on the way there. He later underwent two hours of emergency surgery to relieve the swelling on his brain.
- Sadly, Dadashev passed away at the age of 28 on July 23.

- Dadashev's trainer, James "Buddy" McGirt, advised the referee to stop the bout before the start of the 12th round.
- After vomiting and being unable to walk to his dressing room, Dadashev was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital. He lost consciousness on the way there. He later underwent two hours of emergency surgery to relieve the swelling on his brain.
- Sadly, Dadashev passed away at the age of 28 on July 23.
