I was conversing with jskhosa via PMs about Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, and Juan Manuel Marquez and decided to compile a top 15 list comprised of Mexico's greatest boxers. As you will see, the list grew to a top 20 with a sizable Honorable Mention section.
Excluding Mexican-American fighters such as Orlando Canizales (IBHOF), Michael Carbajal (IBHOF), Bobby Chacon (IBHOF, WBHOF), Albert Davila (WBHOF), Armando Muniz (WBHOF), Manuel Ortiz (IBHOF, WBHOF), Carlos Palomino (IBHOF, WBHOF), and Mando Ramos (WBHOF) and excluding Mexico-based Cuban greats such as Jose "Mantequilla" Napoles (IBHOF, WBHOF) and Sugar Ramos (IBHOF, WBHOF), my top 20 All-Time great Mexican fighters' list is as follows:

Jorge Paez could be another on the Honorable Mention list. I didn't include him but maybe I should have. He did have a nice run as the IBF featherweight champion and remained in contention at 130 and 135 for a good number of years.
