The people that lost money on this deserved to lose it.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Re: Sumo: The July Basho has started

What drama in that match! Another notch on the belt of the Greatest of All Time. The match was excellent, and I'm confident Terunofuji will continue to be a force for a while to come.

You guys think Hakuho calls it a career here or will he continue on?

Teru and Hakuho still unbeaten after 11 days.

Abi gets his Kachi-Koshi in Juryo. Hoshoryu gets his today too with a win over Shodai.

Re: Sumo: The July Basho has started

Katsukoshi after 8 days for the big 2. Abi took his 1st loss today in Juryo. Looks like Enho just can't get it done more. At the rate he's going, he won't even be in Juryo much longer That stinks about Enho. Enho now 2-7 after 9 days in Juryo. Hakuho and Terunofuji still building to the drama of an...

And then there were 2. Teru and Hakuho are now the only remaining undefeated Rikishi in the Top division.

Abi who had went unbeaten in 2 prior tournaments below Juryo thus far is 5-0 in Juryo as well so he's one to keep an eye on

Re: Boxing News Takes Stance Against Sanctioning Bodies' Titles/Joins With TBRB

Damn right. If Boxing won't clean up itself it's up to the fans to acknowledge the truth as we see it, and start calling out the bullshit of the title orgs. There's 1 Champion, not 4, not 2. ONE!!!!

Re: Sumo: The July Basho has started

Promotions to komusubi and sekiwake are done to fill vacancies - there are always 2 spots at each rank to be filled. So if a maegashira gets a strong result, it's possible for them to skip komusubi and be promoted straight to sekiwake if no one else has the result to fill the opening -let's say eve...

Re: Sumo: The July Basho has started

Even though there are 3 guys currently tied with 'em at 3-0 this Tournamentis all about Terunofuji and Hakuho. I can't wait to see them finally face off.

Takakeisho is out due to a Herniated Disc in his Neck I believe. That's a shame.

Enho had a rough bout today in the Juryo division. His opponent kept trying to uppercut/slap the taste out of his mouth lol.

Re: Sumo: The July Basho has started

All the big boys get a W on the opening day, and Ura does too. I knew Terunofuji could potentially reach Yokozuna with a great Tournament here, but who else is potentially up for it? Takakeisho I guess? Yes, it’s a longer shot but if he wins he may make it due to the second place finish last tourne...

Yes indeed. It's time for him to fight a true megafight. He's a major star in Boxing, he gets a lot of hype and attention when he fights, and he's fucking prime. The time is now for a big fight, and he has no shortage of options. Haney, Loma, Teo, Josh Taylor, Prograis...any one of those guys would ...

Re: Best Wrestling Docs

Everything seems way to scripted, doesn’t seem like they can be themselves. The announcing team didn’t seem that good to me, to many scripted promos etc. You're talking about Wrestling itself I take it? I thought you were talking about the Flair Doc. I agree that Wrestling itself has gone to comple...

Re: Best Wrestling Docs

If you have ESPN+ you can watch the Ric Flair documentary on there. That was really good. Very sad in spots, but very good. Ric Flair will always be my favorite wrestler. Has been since I was a kid. I can't see anyone ever taking his place. Especially with the crap they call Wrestling these days. N...

Most of 'em have already been covered. Although it's short, I enjoyed WWE's brief doc that came with "The History of the World Heavyweight Championship" just because I loved seeing the history of that title. I wish it were a lot longer though. But yeah most of the very best ones or go to's...

I've updated the list in the opening post to include all of our inclusions on Page 7. A lot of comments that didn't name any judges on Page 7 so it didn't take long to compile. Yeah but this wasn't advertised as an exhibition. Which means they lied to people who paid to see it.
