Re: Usyk brutally stopped Bellew Saturday
Bellew gave Usyk genuine issues tactically and rattled him with his power, but Usyk was disciplined and turned things back in his favour and he dispatched a tiring Bellew clinically. In hindsight it did appear coming back down in weight may have affected Bellew. He is a natural cruiser but after ad...

Re: Usyk vs Bellew •Live@1pm•
Been pumped for this one all week, can't wait. I actually think Bellew is underrated, he has solid skills. He's got an underrated jab, very solid hand speed, can move around and is an underrated counter puncher. This is a great fight. Usyk deserves to be the favorite, and if I were a betting man, I'...

Re: Wilder vs Tyson Fury Close to being done
Fury looked like shit. If he really does go through with that fight next, he's gonna get knocked out. Great fight for the sport and the division though.
It's gonna make Wilder-Joshua a bigger fight.

Re: Davis/Charlo won by KO & Broner/Vargas a Draw Saturday
I think they should just go one their separate ways now, back to where they were before the fight. Vargas back to 147 and pursue the Thurman fight. And Broner goes back to 140 and fights Figueroa. They can't beat anybody significant except each other though. The crowd really liked it, it was a bett...

Re: Joshua/Parker weigh in footage
I'll take Joshua by a decision. I understand why many have him by a stoppage, but I think Parker will fight the best fight of his career thus far. Parker has a good jab, and he'll be cautious of Joshua's power. I don't know if he'll win too many rounds, but I think he can be the first guy to extend...

100% agree.theVAMP wrote: That 147 talk he's doing, he needs to dead that. He looks like a fat boy at 140. 147 those guys will hurt him. He doesn't have the movement smaller guys who go up need to compete against bigger opponents. His style isn't made for fighting bigger guys.

Re: Jorge Linares-Vasiliy Lomachenko
Also egg on Mikey's face because he swore up and down that Loma-Linares wouldn't happen, and that Loma would fight Beltran because TR wouldn't want to do business.
Well, actually it was you who didn't want to do business.
All that said, Mikey really is a terrific fighter.

Re: Jorge Linares-Vasiliy Lomachenko
I agree that he'll have a real hard time at 147. For a few reasons. It's a deeper roster than he's encountered at any weight up to now, and as you said he's just really not big enough for that weight class. I think even guys like Porter and Danny Garcia would be all he could handle at that weight, ...

Re: Jorge Linares-Vasiliy Lomachenko
Mikey refuses to do business the way its done for years. More power to him but he wont get top rank or gb fighters without giving them options on future fights If he moves up to 147 before long like he's planning he'll have plenty of options anyway on the PBC roster so he'll be alright. Mikey going...

Re: Mikey Garcia May Remain at 140 now that Linares is N/A
Why not unify with Easter at 135, and then set up an undisputed lightweight championship fight with Lomachenko?
Though I understand Beltran has the WBO. But still having the IBF/WBC/WBA/Ring titles on the line would pretty much be the same thing.

Hey Iluv you really blasted Lampley when you asked him about his Kovalev Bias. Good interview. Thanks Laker, I actually love Jim, but I do feel he's had a bias over the last decade plus. So I thought I'd talk to him about it, straight up. He was totally cool about it, it was a real privilege to do ...

Re: Jorge Linares-Vasiliy Lomachenko
We've seen Linares fade multiple times in the 2nd half of fights. He's explosive, and bigger than Lomachenko, so he definitely poses a legitimate threat. But I think because of his fading in the 2nd half, along with the fact that his face doesn't hold up well to punishment, that he'll ultimately get...

Re: AJ-Wilder
Wilder isn't going to get away with keeping his hands at his waist, and relying on a inconsistent jab along with his athleticism against Joshua. Joshua's punch arsenal is pretty damn good. He has a solid jab, a good right hand, and beautiful combinations with his left hook and uppercuts. He brings h...
