Re: CRAWFORD stopped PORTER

his pops was within his rights to stop the fight, but I think Porter deserved to go out how he wanted to go out because he was giving Crawford issues... and upon replay he was mainly caught off balance not very hurt. Maybe he was getting weaker, but we'll never know for sure

Re: FURY & WILDER Trade KDs in a KTFO Barn Burner!!!

Wilder fought with his balls out and everything he had but it wasn't enough. He trained exactly how he needed to in order to have a chance but Fury was too much. only thing I'm mad about is I really wish Wilder vs Joshua was made before their stocks took a nosedive cause they both lost twice, and be...

Re: RYAN GARCIA down once but got the KO vs CAMPBELL in USA

Now of course Oscar is backpedaling about Garcia fighting Tank next. Saying shit like " Ryan doesn't need the other champions, they need him", and "maybe Ryan's not quite ready for Davis". But did we expect anything different? The Campbell fight scared the shit out of them. Don'...

People just find him annoying because if he's not training he's always engaging in social media so they just want him to shut up.

Be that as it may, I find Tank even more annoying

Re: RYAN GARCIA down once but got the KO vs CAMPBELL in USA

Not sure how Tank would fare. Anyone that has to come at Ryan is going to treading on dangerous ground. That left puts anyone's lights out and the right isn't too bad either. Sure, Ryan's head is an easy target but getting in range might be a difficult proposition for someone who is 5'5". Tank...

Re: RYAN GARCIA down once but got the KO vs CAMPBELL in USA

Ryan Garcia is like a slightly less skilled Amir Khan with a better chin. I guess that's the best way I can put it. He got dropped by a monster punch and I thought he was just gonna be jello legs around the ring after but he got up, got composed, and got back to work. I don't think he beats Tank but...

Re: SPENCE Jr defeated DSG

Idk what it is about Spence but he seems to like to give up his range advantage and go toe to toe on the inside. So far he hasn't been punished for it, but that is a definite no no against Crawford. I'm not confident in that fight happening though.

Re: TEO LOPEZ defeated LOMA by UD

119-109 lmao. This had remnants of BHop-Taylor 1 with Taylor winning round 12. Decision was right, Loma waited too long to get going and it cost him. I think he would fare better in a rematch. Except Lopez out landed Loma... in Hopkins/Taylor, Hopkins landed more punches both fights, and significan...

Rewatched. Clear rounds: Lopez: 1 3 4 5 6 12 Loma: 8 9 10 11 toss up rounds: 2 and 7 I was more inclined to give Loma round 7 than 2 because Loma started to step on the gas once he realized he could flurry with his superior handspeed, overjab and flurry, score and reset. On first watch i gave it to ...

Re: Fury-Wilder II: 800-850K PPV Buys

At my work, the 20-somethings were interested in this and watched it, so the PPV number is somewhat puzzling to me. However, I think that a lot of people watched it without having to pay. The illegal str3ams and monthly subscriptions for services like ITV etc. where they still pay a fee but it's no...

Re: Fury-Wilder II: 800-850K PPV Buys

I had coworkers who haven't mentioned a stint of boxing since I started working there. Fury/Wilder 2 had one guy call out to go watch the fight in Vegas, and my boss inviting people over his house after the shift was over to go watch it. I was expecting more than a million for once. That's disappoin...

Re: Old Dog Analogy For Wilder

He never had to learn how to fight inside. You figure in a rematch with a dude who's taller than you he'd have to at least get some decent sparring in where you are able to get inside the range of a long jab but he literally did nothing. If he truly wants the belts back he needs to be honest with hi...

Yeah I just read that about the costume. Is he serious? This has got to be one of the funniest excuses I have ever heard. How much did that costume weigh? Apparently it weighed 40 pounds. It's such a bullshit excuse. https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/28775487/deontay-wilder-confirms-third-tyso...

Re: What really happened tonight? Was Wilder exposed as unskilled. or was Fury just brilliant?

Wilder (as many Fury opponents beforehand) ran into someone that he couldn't get accurate sparring for beforehand. His power is very real and against most (yes, AJ included) it would have been enough. Unfortunately when you're used to being the taller guy and can just sit back super lazy and wait fo...

Fury game planned this perfectly. Weigh more and punk him on the inside.

I'm not even gonna lie. We all (me included) gave Floyd shit for fighting safe. The commentators absolutely licked Joshua's nuts for fighting safe and it grossed me out. Great fight, if donaire had more steam and/or mixed up his attack in the 9th we may be talking about a different outcome. Also looks like Inoue has a fractured orbital and nose for all his troubles Hadn't read about this yet. https://www.ringtv.com/583328-naoya-inoue-reveals-that-he-suffered-eye-so...

Re: Two Things I Took Away From Last Nights Card

as good as Spence is throwing to the body up close, I feel like it would cost him against Budd. Stay outside and pick him off, if he lets Budd inside I like Budd's more compact and quicker shots inside.

also again, why tf does Garcia get a shot at Spence; even Thurman who just lost deserves it more

if I'm Pac I chill until Spence-Porter happens, show up, and root like hell for Porter to score the upset. If he does, meet him in the ring and challenge him right then and there.

Also, fk fighting Floyd again, nobody wanna see that again even if Floyd wanna come out for a paycheck
