During the two-day period of Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21, twelve boxers ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in their respective divisions were in action. Six, Mateusz Masternak, Carl Frampton, Zolani Tete, Gervonta Davis, Jermall Charlo, and Rau'shee Warren, won; four, Karim Guerfi, Nonito Donaire, Omar Narvaez, and Hugo Centeno, Jr., lost; and two, Adrien Broner and Jessie Vargas, fought to a draw.

Vacant IBO World Bantamweight Title-
Michael Dasmarinas (WBC #13, WBO #14; 28-2, 19 KOs)

Karim Guerfi (WBC #6, TTR #10, IBF #13; 26-4, 1 ND, 8 KOs)
- Guerfi and Dasmarinas came into the bout as the IBO's #12 and #37 ranked bantamweight contenders respectively.
- Dasmarinas floored Guerfi with a powerful left to the jaw. The French veteran fell on his back, hitting the back of his head on the canvas. Badly stunned, Guerfi fell on his side and rolled over while trying to get up. The referee then dispensed with the count and stopped the contest. A stretcher was brought into the ring but Guerfi recovered and was able to leave under his own power.
