During the two-day period of Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10, four bouts featuring fighters not then ranked by TTR which were given heavy consideration when TTR's new rankings were compiled took place. Those bouts were won by Ivan Baranchyk, Azat Hovhannisyan, Saul "Baby" Juarez, and Emanuel Navarrete.

- Petrov was a late substitute. Baranchyk was originally scheduled to fight Anthony Yigit (IBF #3, WBO #7, WBC #10; 21-0-1, 7 KOs) in an eliminator for the #1 spot but Yigit had to withdraw because of illness.
- Baranchyk floored Petrov in the first, second, and sixth rounds.
