- #8 ranked Carlos Adames, who has fought above the welterweight class in two of his last three bouts, has vacated the WBA Fedelatin welterweight title, weighed in at 156 for his TKO-6 win over Adrian Jose Perez Aparicio on November 18, 2017, and is now ranked #4 at 154 by the WBA. He is, however, ranked #13 at 147 by the IBF and Top Rank plans to promote him as a welterweight.
