TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION- February 16 & 17- Beltran, Groves, Benavidez, and Garcia Among Weekend's Winners

During the two-day period of Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17, seven fighters ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best currently campaigning in their respective weight classes were in action. Six, Raymundo Beltran, George Groves, Tony Harrison, Yordenis Ugas, David Benavidez, and Danny Garcia, were victorious while one, Chris Eubank, Jr., suffered a loss.

- After six rounds, two of the judges, Eric Cheek and Don Trella, had the bout even, 57-57, while one, Burt Clements, had the 36-year-old Beltran ahead 58-56.
- Cheek and Clements gave five of the last six rounds to Beltran while Trella had him winning all six.
- Cheek's final score was 116-112; Clements and Trella each had it 117-111.
- Scoring the bout for TTR's Main Page, I had it closer with Beltran edging the 39-year-old former WBA World lightweight champion, 115-113.
