On Wednesday, September 13, three boxers ranked by the participating members of TTR were in action. Two, Kosei Tanaka and Shingo Wake, won but the other, Yukinori Oguni, suffered a painful defeat.

Champion Yukinori Oguni (TTR #2, Transnational #4, The Ring #8; 19-2-1, 7 KOs)
- Iwasa floored Oguni once in round 1 and twice in round 2.
- The bout was stopped in the sixth round with Oguni bleeding profusely.

WBO World Junior Flyweight Title-
Champion Kosei Tanaka (TTR #2, The Ring #2, Transnational #4; 10-0, 6 KOs)

Palangpol CP Freshmart (birth name: Rangsan Chayanram; WBA #3, WBO #13; 14-2, 8 KOs)
- Tanaka was knocked down in the first round. He recovered and was leading by the scores of 77-74, 77-74, and 76-75 going into round 9.
- The 22-year-old champion floored CP Freshmart in the ninth. After the 32-year-old challenger rose and resumed fighting, Tanaka launched a barrage of punches, forcing referee Roberto Ramirez, Jr. to stop the bout.
