During the four-day period of Saturday, August 12 through Tuesday, August 15, four boxers ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective divisions were in action. Francisco Rodriguez, Jr. stopped a previously unbeaten prospect, Carlos Canizales won a "stay-active" bout, and undefeated Luis Nery dethroned previously undefeated future Hall of Famer Shinsuke Yamanaka.
