On Saturday, June 3, seven boxers ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best currently fighting in their respective divisions were in action. Five, Wanheng Menayothin, Dmitry Kudryashov, Eleider Alvarez, Adonis Stevenson, and Francisco Rodriguez, Jr., won while two, Olanrewaju Durodola and Andrzej Fonfara suffered losses.

In addition, during the three-day period of Friday June 2 through Sunday, June 4, three bout featuring fighters not currently ranked by TTR which may impact TTR's rankings took place. Those bouts were won by Bradley Skeete, Nordine Oubaali, and Hiroshige Osawa.

- Scoring the bout for TTR's Main Page, I also had Alvarez winning by a 116-112 score.
- Showtime's announcers repeatedly referred to the bout as a title eliminator but the WBC sanctioned it for their Silver title only. Alvarez had previously won two WBC final title eliminators, outpointing Isaac Chilemba over 12 rounds on 11/28/15 and knocking Lucian Bute in the fifth round on 2/24/17. His Silver title was on the line in those two bouts as well.
- Alvarez' win over Pascal was his fourth successful defense of the Silver title.

- Oubaali, who represented France in the 2008 and the 2012 Olympics, floored the former WBO Interim World champion in round 1, round 3, and round 8.
