Champion Anthony Mundine (WBC #4, WBA #4; 47-7, 27 KOs)
- Hatley floored Mundine three times in the second round and, after eight rounds, was leading by five points, eleven points, and nine points on the judges' cards.
- Mundine, in desperate need of a knockout, decked Hatley in the tenth round.
- Hatley dropped Mundine in the eleventh and was on the attack when the bout was stopped.

- "Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots!"- Rodriguez floored Seals in the first round but was floored twice himself later in the round. Rodriguez recovered and decked Seals two more times- once in round 2 and once in round 3.
