During the two-day period of Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, sixteen fighters currently ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best in their respective weight classes were in action. Ten, Suriyan Sor Rungvisai, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, Cesar Rene Cuenca, Nonito Donaire, Denis Shafikov, Arthur Abraham, Scott Quigg, Martin Murray, Carl Frampton, and McJoe Arroyo, emerged victorious; four, Ik Yang, Robert Stieglitz, Kiko Martinez, and Arthur Villanueva, suffered defeats; and two, Darleys Perez and Anthony Crolla, fought to a controversial draw.

- Villanueva lost a point for what referee Rafael Ramos ruled as an intentional head butt in the sixth round.
- Later in the sixth round, Villanueva was badly cut by an Arroyo head butt which Ramos ruled accidental.
- The ringside physician halted the contest in the 10th round because of Villanueva's cut.
- The scores were 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91.
- Both Steve Farhood, who scored the bout for Showtime, and I had Arroyo winning 95-94, meaning the point deduction provided Arroyo's margin of victory on both of our cards.
