TTR RANKED FIGHTERS IN ACTION- March 4 & 5- Solis, Knockout CP Freshmart, and Matsumoto Win

During the two-day period of Wednesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 5, three boxers ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best currently competing in their respective weight classes were in action. All three won. Liborio Solis outpointed veteran Ronald Barrera, Knockout CP Freshmart retained his WBA interim title with a decision over 43-year-old former two-time world champion Muhammad Rachman, and Ryo Matsumoto won a "stay busy" bout by knockout.

In addition, Japanese featherweight champ Satoshi "Bazooka" Hosono may have fought his way back into TTR's rankings by retaining his title with a points win over Rikiya Fukuhara.

- Fukuhara came into the bout as the JBC's #1 contender for Hosono's title. He and Hosono had fought before with Hosono winning by a 7th round TKO on October 2, 2012. Since then, Fukuhara had won all four of his bouts.
