On Saturday, January 17, three TTR ranked fighters were in action. Deontay Wilder outpointed defending WBC World heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne and on the same card, WBC World super bantamweight champ Leo Santa Cruz retained his title.

In addition, during the 5-day period of Friday, January 16 through Tuesday, January 20, bouts won by Willie Monroe, Jr., Jomthong Chuwatana, and Eric Hunter may prove to have an impact on TTR's rankings in the near future.
