Three of Namibia's highest ranked fighters were featured on a card held at the Katutura Independence Arena in Windhoek, the nation's capital and largest city, on Saturday. Former WBA world lightweight champion Paulus Moses and cruiserweight Vikapita Meroro continued their winning streaks but welterweight Bethuel Ushona suffered a stunning upset loss.

WBO International Lightweight Title-
Champion Paulus Moses (WBO #2, TBRBoard #7, TTR #8, IBF #15; 34-2, 22 KOs)
KO-6
Josenilson Dos Santos (27-3, 17 KOs)
- Moses, 36, who is 2-2 in world title bouts and 3-2 versus former and reigning world champions, successfully defended the WBO International title for the fifth time. He's won his last six bouts.
- Dos Santos, a 27-year-old Brazilian, is a former WBO Latino junior lightweight champion.

Non-title Cruiserweight Bout-
WBO Africa champion Vikapita Meroro (WBO #2; 27-4, 13 KOs)
Tech. Dec. 6 3:00
Walter David Cabral (19-11, 8 KOs)
- The 32-year-old Meroro, nicknamed "Beast Master", has also won his last six bouts.
- Cabral, 44, upset fellow Argentinian, heavyweight Gonzalo Omar Basile, in his previous match.
- The Meroro-Cabral contest was stopped because of an accidental clash of heads.

Non-title Welterweight Bout-
WPC World super welterweight champion Dario Fabian Pucheta (20-2, 11 KOs)
TKO-8
WBO Africa welterweight champion Bethuel Ushona (WBO #2; 32-3-1, 9 KOs)
- Ushona, 32, who owns wins over Ali Nuumbembe, Philip Kotey, former IBF world welterweight champion Isaac Hlatshwayo, Emmanuel Clottey, and Kaizer Mabuza, came into the bout as the WBO's #2 ranked contender for Manny Pacquiao's title.
- By snapping Ushona's seven-bout winning streak, Pucheta, a 27-year-old native of Ramallo, Buenos Aires, joined Denton Vassell and former IBF world welterweight champion Jan Zaveck as the only fighters to saddle Ushona with a loss.
