During the two-day period of Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23, four boxers currently ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best of their respective weight classes were in action. Three, Austin "No Doubt" Trout, Manuel "Tino" Avila, and Byron "Gallito" Rojas, emerged as winners while one, Leroy "El Sensacional" Estrada, suffered a defeat.

In addition, former WBA World flyweight champion Luis "El Nica" Concepcion won the vacant WBC Silver super flyweight title and in doing so, may have fought his way back into TTR's rankings.
