The flyweight division is scorching! In September and October, the division's lineal champion and all of the other major organization beltholders will be in action. They will be facing the division's four mandatory challengers, all of whom have earned their title shots legitimately.

Friday, September 5- Tokyo, Japan- *Lineal, WBC, and Ring Magazine champion Akira Yaegashi (20-3, KOs) vs. WBC mandatory challenger Roman Gonzalez (TTR #1, TBRB #8; TTR #6 P4P, TBRB #10 P4P; 39-0, 33 KOs)

Saturday, September 6- Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico- WBA Unified champion/WBO champion Juan Francisco Estrada (TBRB #1, TTR #2; TTR #14 P4P; 26-2, 19 KOs) vs. WBO mandatory challenger Giovani Segura (TBRB #6, TTR #8; 32-3-1, 28 KOs)

Wednesday, September 10- Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand- IBF champion Amnat Ruenroeng (TTR #4, TBRB #9; 13-0, 5 KOs) vs. IBF mandatory challenger McWilliams Arroyo (TBRB #10; 15-1, 13 KOs)

Besides the aforementioned title bouts, there's a key matchup taking place on Tuesday, September 16 in Tokyo:

Kazuto Ioka (TTR #5; 14-1, 9 KOs) vs. Pablo Carrillo (15-2-1, 8 KOs).

If all that wasn't enough, the WBA has ordered a mandatory bout between WBA champion Juan Carlos Reveco (TBRB #5, TTR #7; 34-1, 18 KOs) and WBA Interim champion and Official Challenger Yodmongkol Vor Saengthep (TTR #12; 34-2, 20 KOs). They had until August 10 to reach an agreement to face each other or their bout would go to purse bids. It has been reported that they have reached an agreement and that their unification match will take place in Argentina in early October.

In addition, there are two bouts scheduled featuring fighters not currently ranked by TTR which may impact TTR's rankings:

Saturday, October 4- Tokyo, Japan- Japanese champion Suguru Muranaka (20-2-1, 6 KOs) will defend his title against Yusuke Sakashita (12-4-2, 7 KOs)

Saturday, October 25- Liverpool, Merseyside, England- EBU European champion Valery Yanchy (23-3-2, 7 KOs) will be challenged by BBBofC British and Commonwealth champion Kevin Satchell (12-0, 2KOs).
