During the four-day period of Friday, August 8 through Monday, August 11, ten boxers currently ranked by the participating members of TTR as being among the best in their respective divisions were in action and, in addition, three bouts featuring fighters not currently ranked by TTR which may impact TTR's rankings took place.

Of the TTR ranked fighters, nine, Oscar Escandon, Liborio Solis, Thabo Sonjica, Ryno Liebenberg, Vyacheslav Glazkov, Danny "Swift" Garcia, Lamont Peterson, Francisco Rodriguez, Jr., and Andres Gutierrez, were victorious and one, Katsunari Takayama, who fought Rodriguez in a leading candidate for Fight Of The Year, suffered a loss.

Possibly fighting their way into TTR's rankings were Dmitry Chudinov, Daniel Jacobs, and Sho Ishida.
