TTR's RANKINGS THROUGH JUNE 18 POSTED
Pictured: Lineal World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko

TTR's Posters' Pound-For-Pound and "new look" divisional rankings through June 18, 2014 were compiled and posted on June 19, 2014. Among those entering or re-entering TTR's rankings are heavyweight Carlos Takam and new WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri.

(ONCE AGAIN, I apologize for having to post the following: IGNORE the rankings to the right. Those "damn things" are STILL our rankings through August 28. That persistent bug in our system continues to prevent us from replacing those outdated rankings on the Main Page.)

It should be noted that the eight TTR members who participated in the rankings through June 4, 2014 were polled on two proposed rankings policy changes.

One was whether or not we should list a division's lineal champion as the World Champion above the rankings for a given division or continue to include him in the rankings like we had been doing while the other was whether or not we should automatically remove a fighter from our rankings once he reached a year of inactivity or if we should do so only if the fighter in question does not have a bout scheduled- if he does have a fight scheduled, it was proposed that we wait to see if that bout takes place before taking any action.

Both proposals passed- the first by a 6-1 vote with one member abstaining; the second by a 4-0-1 vote (the "1" being for either way- no preference) with three members abstaining.

The policy changes went into effect with our rankings through June 18, 2014.

As it has been for awhile, until the aforementioned rankings through August 28 are replaced, the top ten portions of TTR's rankings will be posted in the news section as well as in the "TTR Posters' Rankings" section.
