Seriously rank the 4 sanctioning bodies
I know they all suck and we hate them... but how do you rank them?
Re: Seriously rank the 4 sanctioning bodies
The IBF is obviously the best of the lot. Under Darryl Peoples they have made an effort to follow their own rules.
1. IBF
2. WBO
3. WBC
4. WBA
I don't recognize any of them. You are better off following the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board tbrb.org , or even ringtv.com rankings. At this point I probably hold the IBO in higher regard than the WBA.
I repeat, tbrb are legit world rankings.

In terms of prestige or credibility?
The WBC has always been the most prestigious belt. Every fighter wants to win the 'green' belt. Then it seems the WBA followed by the IBF. The WBO was a low budget belt that was reserved for up and coming fighters to go after to make a name for themselves before challenging the more established champs of the WBC, WBA & IBF. Then Joe Calzaghe made the WBO relevant and it became a legitimate organization.

1) Junk
2) Crap
3) Flop
4) Lame
At this point, fighters should make up their own belts with a 3-D printer and carry them to the ring...they'd have their same weight and sway.
