No Chef....he was fucked over.

Away from home he'd been schooling Gerber.....he gets dropped, but gets up and is perfectly fine with hands raised as the referee completes the count. The referee stops it for no reason other than corruption. He wasn't protecting Sprott, he was protecting the hometown hero.

Sprott didn't punch him, he pushed him and the cowardly referee went down like he'd been shot. Its a shame Sprott didn't keep his cool, but he'd been ripped off so his reaction was somewhat understandable when put into the proper context of the fight as a whole.

Perfectly Fine?....He Stumbled to the Ropes and had to hold on to them to get upright...

I havent seen the Whole fight but from that gif you can clearly see his legs arnt under him...

NO....i did not. As i said, he got dropped but got up and is perfectly fine with hands raised as the referee completes the 8 count.

The stoppage was absolutely shocking.....end of.

Obviously Sprott shouldn't have shoved the referee, but i find it easy to forgive a fighter for reacting angrily when he's been fucked over by a bent official.

i could see judges stopping the fight right away when he stumbled and never let go the ropes, even when he tries to look steady in the corner... his back and weight was still (how do you say something is sitting but verticaly... isn't there a word that sounds like kneeling or somethign) on the ring post

but when you see how hard he contested, you can then see he was fine... but that is with a replay and more time to judge

He was doing alright before the stoppage

He should obviously be disciplined for his reaction to what the referee did but wow that was a bad stoppage. He was looking straight at the ref and answered him and had his hands raised. That's an obvious sign that he is fine. He wasn't stumbling around and the ref was staring right into his eyes.

I think you need to learn to read Marc. I said he was perfectly fine with arms aloft as the referee finished the count, which is completely true.

Why you have decided to argue against a shitty stoppage of a visitor who was beating a home towner i've no idea.

He was leaning back but don't think it should have been stopped. He should have been punished, but that Ref didn't fall from force, he fell from pure fear. He damn near fainted.
